Plan First Program


The Plan First Program is an 1115 Research and Demonstration waiver that extends family planning and birth control services only to eligible women ages 19-55 who do not otherwise qualify for full Medicaid coverage.

1115 Demonstration Public Hearings Set - Plan First Program Renewal

Two public hearings will be held in July to receive comments related to the Alabama Medicaid Agency's proposed Section 1115 Demonstration waiver application for the renewal of the Plan First Program.  The proposed 1115 Demonstration waiver application may be viewed below:

Montgomery - Wednesday, July 9 at 4 p.m.
Boardroom - Lurleen B. Wallace State Office Building
501 Dexter Avenue
Montgomery, AL  36104

An operated-assisted teleconference will be available for the Montgomery hearing.
To access the teleconference, dial 1 (800) 230-1085. An operator will provide instructions if you wish to speak. Comments will be received first from participants in the room, followed by comments from participants on the telephone.
