On October 1, 2016, Alabama Medicaid will implement Regional Care Organizations as part of the Agency's transformation initiative. The Agency is now recruiting for experienced professionals to serve as one of five Medicaid RCO Managers.

RCOs are locally-led managed care systems that will ultimately provide healthcare services to most Medicaid enrollees at an established cost under the supervision and approval of the Alabama Medicaid Agency.

The RCO Manager's duties will involve directing, coordinating, monitoring and providing contract compliance and operational oversight of RCOs within an assigned region.
