Medicaid for Pregnant Women

Pregnant women may apply for Medicaid programs using the single streamlined Medicaid application. Children may be living in one or two parent families. You may also apply for unrelated children as long as they are living in your home and you provide parental care and support. For fast service, you may apply online at https://insurealabama.adph.state.al.us/. You may also mail your application. For a paper application, contact the Recipient Call Center (toll-free) at (800) 362-1504, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. If you cannot apply online or by mail, you can apply in person at your local county health department, federally qualified health care center or some local hospitals.
