The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) did not approve
Alabama’s request for an increased pharmacy dispensing fee; therefore,
effective Wednesday, July 13, 2016, the dispensing fee for outpatient pharmacy
claims will revert back to $10.64. Within upcoming checkwrite cycles,
adjustments will be made in chronological order beginning with dates of service
