Dec 1, 2025 - Alabama Medicaid Agency (Medicaid) leadership and the MES (Medicaid Enterprise Systems) Program Team hosted an informational event on April 7, 2021, entitled “Alabama MES Strategy Overview.” The purpose of the meeting was to provide information for technology vendors specializing in the Medicaid arena.

Dec 23, 2025 - Upon CMS approval, for per diem rates effective October 1, 2025 and thereafter, costs for Medicaid therapy services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology, will be considered allowable costs.
