Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) administers coverage of intensive home-based services for children and youth with ASD. These services are provided through professionals approved by DMH.  Coverage details can be found in the Medicaid Provider Manual, Chapter 110.

Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED)

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) administers coverage of intensive home-based services for children and youth with SED. These services are provided by Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs).  Coverage details can be found in Medicaid Provider Manual, Chapter 105

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

ABA Therapy can be provided by a qualified behavior analyst, psychologist, psychiatrist, or services under their supervision for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who need ABA Therapy. These services are provided by individual professionals enrolled as Medicaid providers.
