Nurse-Family Partnership

Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is an Alabama Medicaid program which provides services to eligible Medicaid recipients, including home visiting services for prenatal, postpartum, and infant care until the child reaches age two. The goals of the program include improved health outcomes for mother and child, reduced infant and maternal mortality, and decreased expenditures.

Provider Requirements
  • Certification by the National Service Organization (NSO) will be required. For more information about the NFP Certification Process, email Lisette Nimmons.
