RE: Alabama Medicaid Changes Eyeglass and Eye Exam Benefit for Adults
For dates of service on or after August 14, 2021, the Alabama Medicaid Agency Eye Care Program provides one complete eye exam and one pair of eyeglasses every two calendar years for eligible adults 21 years of age and older through ophthalmologists, optometrists and opticians.
