Temporary Changes for Butler County Medicaid Residents
Jul 3, 2024 - Attention Butler County Medicaid Residents:
If you feel that your Medicaid paperwork has been lost in the recent Butler County Health Department fire, please call the Recipient Call Center at 1-800-362-1504.
Medicaid paperwork may be your application, paper renewals, Recipient Change Form, Medicare-Savings Program (MSP) application, etc.

Cares Portal Maintenance
Jul 2, 2024 - The CARES application (a portal for recipients to submit applications and renewal forms) will be unavailable during maintenance starting on Friday, July 5th at 5:00 PM until Monday, July 8th at 9: 00 AM. Online applications and renewal will not be accepted during that time. You may still submit applications and renewals to your local Medicaid Office.

Notice of New Medicaid ID Cards
Jul 2, 2024 - You may get a new Medicaid ID card with a new Medicaid ID number. This change is happening because the Alabama Medicaid Agency is moving from an old eligibility computer system to a new one.
